‘Fear leads to disbelieving God and disbelieving God is a sin’.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways submit to Him and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5,6 Read Bible Verse
There are many areas in our life where we automatically fear even before we start that particular task or journey, it may be because of authority, punishment, or because of losing our image in front of others which again leads to [1]hypocrisy. Trusting the Sovereign Lord to overcome the areas we fear the most is the perfect way, at times when we fear new challenges, we forget God’s wonderful mercy that helped us to overcome the previous challenge and then sadly it leads to our own understanding and our own will. The word of God has the solution for every problem.” There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love”.1 John 4:18 (NLT) Read Bible Verse
We all are aware about a famous quote of Sir Billy Graham- “The will of God will not take us where the grace of God cannot sustain us.”
“Fear of the Lord is a life - giving fountain, it offers escape from the snares of death”. Proverbs 14:27 (NLT) Read Bible Verse
“You dear children are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world”-1 John 4:4(NIV) Read Bible Verse
All kinds of fear in this earth leads to death, the only FEAR that leads us to life is fear of GOD – it gives life to the hungry souls, it protects us from all kinds of sin, it gives us wisdom and knowledge from God’s word; in other words, if we fear GOD, we need not fear anything which is against us because those who fear GOD can fight all the battles alone. In the Holy Bible we can see many God-fearing men and women who stood alone but gained victory for God’s Glory. For example- Jeremiah, Elijah, Esther.1 Hypocrisy: The practice of claiming to have higher standards or more noble beliefs than is the case.
