“Fear can paralyze us and keep us from believing God and stepping out in faith. The devil loves a fearful Christian!” -Billy Graham

Everyone has a fear against something- fear of unemployment, marriage, studies, etc. As a human being, fear is a common factor in everyone’s life. But, the Word of God says; to be strong, courageous and not to fear. Let’s take the example of Elijah. When Elijah heard that Jezebel would kill him the next day, he got afraid and ran for his life. He even said to the LORD to take his life rather than Jezebel killing him. But what did the LORD want Elijah to do? The LORD wanted Elijah to be strengthened; get up and move forward for His ministry.

We all have that one moment in our life where such fear comes and we stop moving forward. We must never forget that our God is with us through every situation that we face. Never give up and never fear such situations, instead face it with God besides us.
Remember, it is us who must overcome the fear factor. God is always there with us to give us strength. When Elijah ate the food and drank the water, he was strengthened: physically as well as spiritually. Similarly, let us strengthen ourselves and cast out all our fears through the Word of God.

Believe in God and take a step of faith in such situations. We should declare the Word of God when we face fear as HIS Word drives out every fear and brings peace in our heart.

Philippians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”  Read Bible Verse
