The last 2 years haven’t only hit our church communities hard but also the public in general around the world. Our usual regular activities were halted for around 2 years – with just prayer meetings held on zoom meetings or prayers held in individual households within their family. With ever-growing anxiety, depression, and mental illnesses, one of the direct hits of the [1]repercussions due to the pandemic was on our youth.

The stride of events had halted every youth activity. But the pandemic also taught us the importance of staying connected through any means available. Even though physically distanced we were connected digitally. Through regress discussions, the idea of a digital magazine was born to encourage the Youth to trail, engage them spiritually, and help them overcome the dreadful impact of the pandemic.

The dictionary defines Trailblazer as “a person who is the first to do something”. As Numbers 14:24  Read Bible Verse teaches us that Caleb believed that they should take a step forward and take possession of the land and with certainty, he said that “we can definitely do it.” Let us be the ones who carve that path for others, while moving forward and listening to God’s voice. Surely the day is not far when we look behind us and see an amazing sight, the very trail we have blazed through which many have reached the true God.

The YPE Department thought to wander into those digital boundaries to tap in the potential to connect with our ever-online youth generation out there to bring out a unique digital magazine that will draw the attention of the Youth with its varied digital content and activities. Nothing changes in Trailblazers copy you used to get hands-on physically but this time it’s a digital application – filled with interactive and fun to activities; not only test your brains but also give you the knowledge to be on the God’s path subtly while you interact. From blessed thoughts, fun games, multiple quizzes, illustrations, stories, and anecdotes – the digital magazine serves as a one-stop approach for the trailblazers you’re all aware of, just that it’s better this time.
If it is God’s will, we wish to release a new edition of Digital Trailblazer either bi-monthly or quarterly. Each issue will have its own set of unique articles, audios, activities, games, kids section, and more. The focus of the magazine will be on the different aspects of real-life situations a Christian Youth has to go through. Each issue will have separate themes and the overall look of the magazine could change if the YPE Team gets handsy with newer technologies.

This first issue has the theme “Free From Fear” which encourages and guides the Youth to live a life free from fear in these perilous times. We also invite spirit-filled, original content from the talented youths in the days to come in form of articles, audios, activities, videos, or anything unique that strikes your imagination. Your feedback and reviews are most welcome on this first digital edition.

We had to carry on the legacy of Trailblazers that the previous Team had handed over to us. Though it was an immense task, with the blessings of God, the vision, and the hard work of our YPE Team, YPE Board, Pastors, and talented youth out there: this was made possible. It is indeed specially [2]curated and crafted with love and inspired by the holy spirit for the greater love for the kingdom of God. I encourage all the Youth to read, meditate and share this magazine with their friends and family so the true gospel of Jesus Christ may reach all the corners of the world. May God Bless You All!
